Don’t know how to send a private message to others, a bit confused
You need to reach Silver Member status. Once you click your avatar, the private message option will appear.
You need to reach Silver level to send private messages. Click on a forum user’s avatar and a chat menu will pop up.

Anti-harassment measures: Before you reach the Silver trust level, you can’t initiate private messages with others—you can only passively receive private messages and direct chat messages from members at Silver level and above.
Once you reach Silver trust level, private messaging and direct chat features will unlock automatically. Just click on a user’s avatar to see the corresponding options.
