Posts about relay sites have been appearing one after another recently, with the good and bad mixed together. It’s difficult for fellow users to tell what these sites are like, whether they’re worth registering for, or whether they’re simply signing up to become victims.
To reduce the trouble these sites cause for community members, relay-site posts must now meet the following two requirements in addition to the AFF requirements.
- Relay sites must add a NODELOC login option, so NL users can log in directly using their community accounts. See the NL OAUTH documentation at https://4gfj4hgkj4as4.pages.dev/oauth-provider/applications; you can log in directly using new-api’s OIDC configuration.
- Relay sites must provide a testing link. Use https://modeloc.com to test the model and include the test results. For example:

Posts that fail to meet these requirements will be deleted immediately, and the poster will be muted for one week banned for a period of time. Serious cases will result in a permanent ban.
